What is Post Players Basketball Training?

I have developed basketball training specifically for POST PLAYERS that play in or about the "paint". The players learn fundamental and advanced footwork which separates "great" players from just good players. All workouts are designed for game situation speed and intensity. Overall your game will improve with the workouts that I have developed for high school and college basketball players. Basic fundamentals are also offered to boys and girls in 7th and 8th grades.

What are the advantages of Post Players Workouts?

Skills and drills plus game situation workouts are the success to playing the POST POSITION. The workouts teach proper FOOTWORK including pivots, drop steps, and various offensive techniques. These skills are rarely practiced during the high school basketball seasons therefore you will have the advantage over other average players who rely on "in-season" practices. In addition, I am the primary instructor who has more than 25 years of playing and coaching basketball.

Will your Post Player training improve my Footwork on the low post?

Yes. This is the most important aspect of playing in the post. The pivoting on the low post is what makes you the better player than your opponent. We will break down the proper techniques and include advanced footwork when needed. Your footwork will be excellent after your PPB training.

Do you work on shooting from the wing?

PPB trains all post players to play from the wing position. The post player is a better offensive threat when they are trained to play 15 feet from the hoop. PPB will make you a scoring threat from the wing position by working on dribbling, shooting and body control.
